Four Winds New Buffalo is a relatively new hotel and casino built in New Buffalo, Michigan in 2007. It is the primary property of Four Winds Casino’s which is owned by the Pokagon Band of Potawomi Indians. The hotel and casino is built to represent the style of the Potawomi people’s traditional lodges. The hotel has a total of 415 rooms, making it one of the largest in Michigan. Should the resort be in Las Vegas, it would be the second largest there. In May 2015 it was named one of the ten best casinos located outside of Vegas. The original buildings were expanded in 2011 due to the resorts massive success and popularity, adding and extra 250 rooms and a multipurpose facility.
